In this series, Anette reinterprets the cubic shape by departing from the sharp edges and stiff expression of the classic cube towards a smooth and collapsed indentation. Through the crafting process each cube will have a unique descend and shape as determined by gravity. The artwork can be exhibited both as a sculpture, a coffee table detail and through hanging on a wall.

The three-dimensional shape alters the impression of the artwork during a day as light moves across the surface and invites the observer to a nuanced theater of shadows.
