In the Rock series Anette draws inspiration from the rugged landscape and the signature barren rocks of the Bohuslän archipelago. The powerful yet refined formation of the artworks mirrors the structure and surface of stones polished over time by the shifting Scandinavian climate. The artwork can be exhibited both as a sculpture, a coffee table detail and through hanging on a wall.

The three-dimensional shape alters the impression of the artwork during a day as light moves across the surface and invites the observer to a nuanced theater of shadows.
